The “Ghostwood” Show
DNO have made a major step forward in the band’s development. In May 2003 we signed a contract with the Celtic Folk Society at the British Council, which associates us with their new music and dance project “Ghostwood”. The band is being busy with the works over a double album entitled “Ghostwood: Tohmare Ethaine” & “Ghostwood: King of the Fairies”. Performances will start in the middle of June and will take place each Wednesday evening at the Royal Albert Hall . Everybody is welcome!

The Ghostwood Show continues!
DNO have received the finalised 2004 schedule for the Ghostwood Show. The band are one of the several troupes supporting the big cultural event which will take place between March and May at Royal Albert Hall in London. DNO are also planning another Ghostwood Touraround the United Kingdom for June.

New album in mind
DNO will go to the studio in April to edit a new album! The guys are going to work over a number of previously performed traditional folk songs from their extensive repertoir, and will include the best ones in the new album which will be entitled “Hibernia”. It is still early to think about a promotional tour but Des hopes that the band will be able to negotiate a one or two-week series of performances in England and Scotland.

Royal Eisteddfod 2004
DNO are planning to participate  in the Royal Eisteddfod Genedlaethol Urdd in August in North Wales. DNO’s traditional participation at the closing gala spectacle of the Royal Eisteddfod in London has been confirmed. The event will take place in the middle of August in London. The possible band’s participation at the Llangollen Eisteddfod festival is still to be negotiated.

More performances will be announced soon, so stay tuned!
